Hello!
We’re Midwest Robot Parts & Service. We’re not an ad agency. Thank goodness. But we do a lot of what ad agencies do. Creative, design, strategy. Just without all the stuff that gets in the way of doing good stuff. We think it’s better that way. And a whole lot more fun.

Jon Flannery
Over the last 30+ years, Jon has had a lot of letters come after his name. CCO, ECD, EVP and way back in the beginning, CW. All those letters are just a fancy way of saying Jon loves the business of creativity, has been doing it a long time, and humbly speaking, is pretty darn good at it.
Before co-founding MRPS, Jon was CCO at Edelman Chicago where he built a modern creative engine combining ideas, design, execution, and innovation with an earned-centric approach to media.

Prior to that he was ECD at DDB Chicago where he led the Capital One business across broadcast, digital, and social channels.
More letters after Jon's name include ECD at FCB Chicago and CCO at FCB Toronto where he played a key role in rebuilding and setting the foundation for creative excellence in both offices. After two years in Toronto, the agency was recognized as Canada’s most creatively awarded agency in 2016. Since then, along with FCB Chicago, both offices have contributed significantly to the network’s rise as a global creative force, culminating in recognition as 2021 Agency of the Year at One Show 2021 Network of the Year at Cannes and 2022 NA Network of the Year at Cannes.
Jon has been lucky enough to win every major award in the industry, including 35 Cannes Lions, Gold, Silver and Bronze pencils at The One Show, multiple wins at D&AD, Clio, three gold and one Grand Effie, and appearances in several Communication Arts Annuals. Including his seven years at Element 79, where he worked on and ran the Gatorade business, he has been a part of building or rebuilding three advertising agencies and one PR firm.
Before all the above, Jon spent two summers working for the Central Intelligence Agency. Otherwise known as the CIA.
Yep. More letters.

Todd Durston
Todd ( First name, Robert. My parents called me by my middle name and it has made my life terrible) has been in the business for a long time. He landed his first job at a small agency because he knew how to use a computer machine. He spent 19 years of his awfully long career at FCB Chicago where he was lucky to work on lots of brands and win a lot of awards.
In 2012, he started a side-hustle company called Archer with a couple friends. Archer makes a great Father's Day gift, groomsman gift or stocking stuffer. Next time you need a gift for that guy who is so hard to buy for, check out archermen.com.
Todd, like Jon above, has won all the awards although Jon will point out that he has won a lot more of said awards. Which is true, but Jon is also a lot older than Todd. Like, a lot older. He had already quit smoking twice by the time I was born. Actually he's only 3 years older.
Todd lives in Evanston with his loving wife, two adult daughters and two high school sons. He spends a lot of his free time at hockey rinks watching his sons play hockey and in the back yard feeling generally confused about what to do to make his lawn look respectable.
His family loves him very much.

Todd has never worked for the CIA, but listens to a lot of conspiracy podcasts that blame them for pretty much every problem in the modern world.
